There are four main points from where you can do this:Buhoma,Nkuringo,Ruhija and Rushaga .All the four sectors offer similar opportunities to see the Gorillas.

Bwindi Forest National Park is a home to over 120 wildlife mammal and among the top tourists attraction in bwindi is the mountain gorillas which are visited by travelers that explore Uganda on either guided uganda safari or self drive safaris. The list of primates of bwindi consists mainly of small mammals such as Rodents and Bats, to over 11 types of primates including the healthy chimpanzee population , Red-tailed and blue monkey, black and white colobus monkeys and Olive baboon.

A total of 350 bird species have been recorded in Bwindi National Park which in particular those birders interested in birding tours can spot 23 species endemic to the Albertine Rift, and at least 14 species recorded nowhere else in Uganda, including African green broad bill, white-tailed blue flycatcher, brown necked parrot and frazers eagle owl. Bwindi is also a home to at least 200 butterfly species.
